Bluetooth certification in Indonesia

Based on kepdir 09/dirjen/2004 about bluetooth technical requirements in Indonesia. Bluetooth is a wireless network system with the information intended as a sender and receiver of data information, with the allocati0n of frequency for bluetooth in 2.4 - 2.4835 GHz.

Bluetooth technical requirements in the testing device as follows:

A. Frequency allocation for bluetooth devices 2.4 - 2.4835 GHz.

B. Out power: (Power Class)
  • Power Class 1. Maximum out power: 100 mW (20dBm), Nominal Output Power: N / A, Minimum Output: 1 mW (0 dBm), Power Control: 4 to +20 dBm-30 to 0dBm, Optional.
  • Power Class 2. Maximum out power: 2.5 mW (4 dBm), Nominal Output Power: 1 mW (0 dBm), Minimum Output: 0:25 mW (-6 dBm), Power Control: -30 to 0 dBm, Optional.
  • Power Class 3. Maximum out power: 1 mW (0 dBm), Nominal Output Power: N / A, Minimum Output: N / A, Power Control: -30 to 0 dBm, Optional.
C. Spread spectrum is permitted Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) or Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS).

D. Effective Radiated Power ? -10 dBW (100 mW) EIRP.

E. Modulation Characteristics:

1. Modulation = Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying (GFSK)
2. Modulation index = 0.32 ± 1%
3. BT = 0.5 ± 1%
4. Bit Rate = 1 Mbps ± 1 ppm
5. Modulation data = PRBS9
6. Frequency Accuracy = ± 1 ppm

F. Spurious emissions refers to the ETSI 300 328.

G. Bluetooth devices must be qualified by the Bluetooth Qualification Body (BQB).
