I have information about Certification Directive for type approval certificate of telecommunication in Indonesia :

Validity :

Certification of telecommunication is issued by Directorate General of Posts and Telecommunication ( DGPT ), which for each type of telecommunication equipment while telecommunication equipment series approval is not acceptable. The validity period of the certificates is 3 (three) years from the date of issuance. At any time if there is a change either in technical or administrative aspect of product Stated in this certificate, it is the responsibility of the applicant to submit such change to DGPT. Any failure to notify DGPT about aany technical or administrative change may invalidate the certificate.

Renewal

Renewal of certificate may be required when there is any technical and administrative change in approved telecommunication equipment or certificate expiry. Returning the original certificate and re-evaluation on such approved telecommunication equipment will be conducted as appropriate.

Obligation

The certificate holder obliged to produce and affix label on each unit of all equipment covered by the certificate. The certificate holder has to take responsibilities on appropriate consumer protection as well as the safety of equipment covered by the certificate.

Suspension of certificate

Any of the following may cause immediate suspension of the DGPT :

* Failure in service or redesign of the equipment covered by the certificate.
* Substantial change in management organization.
* Refusing to access DGPT personnel for periodic for periodic or annual audits.
* Failure to pay certification fees

Label

The label must prominently display the following 2 (two) components of information: The size of the label is depend on the size or the surface of equipment and it shaal be visible by bare eyes. In any case that the equipment is not possible to affix the label, the appereance of label in manual book and product packing is allowable. Marking and lattering can be of any size or color.
